I took my car in to get the one rear driver side brake fixed at Canadian Tire on Bayfield in Barrie Ont. The wheel was very hot and smoking. I told them at the service desk what had happened and the said they would inspect it and call me to tell me what it would cost. They never did call, so I walked over there 3 hours later and they said nothing was wrong and handed me a 50 dollar inspection fee. I demanded they put my car on the hoist and check it, because obviously they did not check it. I watched through the glass while they turned the front wheel and it spun freely and then he turned the rear drivers side wheel and when he let it go the wheel stopped instantly. He tried to say that when they inspected it, it was OK. I then asked them to take it off the hoist and I took it to another garage where the people in the service dept. can be trusted. If I didn't know my brakes like I do, or my wife was driving the car,she could have been stranded on the road somewhere, or worse off the wheel come off from catching fire. I am not a bit impressed by the mechanics and service dept at C.T. Bayfield Barrie. I will never bring a vehicle back to C.T. ever again
