Well 2017 has arrived. Hope you all had a great holiday season! But now we’re back to reality. A few changes have been made at the store starting with our hours of operation. New hours are as follows:

CLOSED – Sunday and Monday
Tuesday – 10:00 to 5:30
Wednesday – 10:00 to 5:30
Thursday – 10:00 to 8:00
Friday – 10:00 to 5:30
Saturday – 9:00 to 2:00

Hopefully these earlier openings will help accomodate you’re busy lives!

There has also been a rate increase that varies based on the line of wine you are making. We’ve tried to hold them as long as we could but increases in the wine supply itself along with all the other increases in operational costs have forced our hand.

To help you ease into these increases we have the following wines on sale for the month of January.

Argentina Malbec Syrah
Argentina’s best known and cherished red grape, Malbec, is blended with spicy Syrah to create a wine with pleasant toasty aromas and hints of cherry and dark fruit on the palate.

Washington Merlot
A cooler climate style Merlot from Washington, this wine features classic flavours of cassis and chocolate. It is dark and rich with complex notes of blackberries and velvety tannins.

Italian Pinot Grigio
An enticing deep apple abd grapefruit bouquet with apple and citrus notes that follow through to the palate and linger with a dry finish. This Pinot Grigio is made in the true northern Italian style.

South Africa Chenin Blanc
The fruity nose has hints of green apple and lemon with a subtle floral bouquet. On the palate, true to its South African origins, it is delightly refreshing.

The Restricted Quantity wines were delayed due to the extended growing season this past fall.  Therefore the December release of the French Cabernet Sauvignon is arriving next week.  For those of you who have pre-ordered, I will call and confirm bottling dates.  These are limited in quantity, so if you want one you need to let me know.
