It seems that winter has had its last hurrah and we can expect the milder weather to stay. That means we’re all going to be outside enjoying our patios once again. Time to get some summer wines going.

At Allandale we are featuring the following 4 wines at discounted pricing for the entire month of May!

Grand Cru 4 week Pinot Blanc
Rich, light-bodied flavour and slightly herbal aroma. Subtle undertones of apple and peach round out this easy-drinking white wine.

Grand Cru 4 week Pinot Grigio
A dry wine with overtones of green melon leading to a crisp, clean finish. A bouquet of honey and herbs completes the experience of this perrenially favourite white.

Grand Cru 4 week Merlot
A smooth, rich red wine, medium dark in colour with notes of blackberry and currants. A hint of green olive in the bouquet will pleasantly surprise and delight you. 

Grand Cru 4 week Rosso Superiore (replacing barolo)
Deep in colour, this red wine is high in tannin, robust, and intense on the palate with earthy notes of mushroom and black fruit. Pair it with your favourite grilled meats.


We also have a new fruit wine for the season. Plum Passion.  This elegant wine offers aromas of fresh, succulent red plums and floral notes on the nose. The palate is juicy and complex with hints of spice and floral notes coming through on the finish. It only takes 4 weeks to make and it’s ready to drink right away. A perfect wine for the patio.

Mivino!!
This new brand of wine has replaced the Glad Hatter. It can be made in batches of 30 bottles or you can opt to make a half batch of 15. Or maybe you would like to create your own blend and mix and match the different styles. Come in and check it out.
