Greetings Wine Lovers!

This is a very special month for us here at Allandale Wine Crafters, as today marks the one year anniversary of Jessi and Kristina taking over from Gail! It’s been a big year with ups and downs, but one constant: our fantastic customers! Many of you have become fast friends and the support has been overwhelming! To thank you for such a great year and your encouragement we’d like to have you in for cake, coffee and tea and some other goodies tomorrow, June 2^nd between 10am and 3pm! We’ll also be knocking $10 off your first batch ordered and $15 off the second, in store only and one day only! After tomorrow we’ll still have our regular monthly specials available!

The June specials will be Cru International 5 week wines including:

California Muscat – A luscious blend with flavours and aromas of peach, apricot, baked apple, and pear. This soft white crowd-pleasing California wine also has a hint of tropical fruit.

California Syrah – Raspberries and peppery spice blend in harmony to create an elegant flavor with soft, balanced tannins and a lingering, smooth finish. This is a California wine at its best.

Chilean Malbec –Warm spice notes and aromas and flavours of ripe blackberry and blackcurrant. Chile is well known for these chewy, deep, rustic red wines with intense cherry flavours and blended oak undertones.

French Rosé – Made in the classic French rosé style, it is light bodied and pink in colour with spiced strawberry and crisp, citrus aromas. The palate features fresh strawberry flavours with a refreshing fruity finish.

June is also Nick’s birthday month! He’ll be turning 33 on the 24^th and to celebrate, he’s asked for no gifts, just donations to Gilda’s Club of Simcoe Muskoka. Gilda’s Club is a Cancer Support center that is 100% free and run 100% on donations. Almost every Canadian has been directly or indirectly affected by cancer and while treatment and research are incredibly important, the emotional and social aspect is often largely overlooked. Gilda’s Club’s belief is that no one should face this disease alone and so they provide support to cancer patients as well as their families! We will have a donation box in the store to raise funds for Gilda’s for the month of June, and we will also be donating $5 from each regularly priced batch sold for the month of June!
