Basic office emergency kit - Many of us stand a 25% chance of being at work when a disaster strikes. A survival kit could make your stay safer and more comfortable. These basic supplies could easily fit in a small container kept in or under your desk.

Tip: Wear sturdy footwear to work and change into your work shoes when you get there. This way you will have appropriate footwear with you should you have to make it home on foot.

Tip: Keep your gas tank at least ½ full, especially in winter. Tip: To keep your feet dry, put plastic bags over your socks before putting on your shoes.
