Cary Grant Clothing was established in 2002 In Toronto, Ontario Canada by owner Cary Grant. Born in Ghana West Africa, Cary spent his childhood living in multiple countries such as Sierra Leon, United Kingdom, and Zurich Switzerland, traveling all across Europe and picking up various languages. Cary's eye for fashion developed at the very young age of 5 when he would experiment with styles, coordination and anything "New" that would stand out from the norm. In his teenage years Cary would design and have custom clothing sewn to suit his impeccable taste for fashion.

Going to school in Toronto studying business administration and Information Technology gave Cary the knowledge and desire to make his dream of creating his own fashion line a reality. Cary Grant Clothing started at the Eaton Centre in downtown Toronto under very modest circumstances but the popularity of his clothing quickly required a new location to accommodate the high demand. The official Cary Grant Clothing store was opened February of 2002 at the Jane and Finch mall. Cary himself became the go to man for all the latest trends in the hip hop and urban community, later on branching into club wear and semi formal wear for all ages.
