Now there are email programs such as Gmail or Yahoo who will empty out the trash automatically every 30 days, however, this is not the case with the computer recycle bin. I had one client that when they opened up their trash bin there was over 300 files that that were sitting in limbo on their computer. Another client who uses Outlook had over 1,300 emails sitting in their Deleted File folder. They were both amazed at how many files were accruing and also that they needed to go that extra step of "emptying out the trash".
