Professional Background
After spending several years in the retail servicing business, in 2000 I began my career as a Realtor®. These years in the real estate business saw several changes in the way we do business with the internet becoming a key component to all purchases and sales along with good service. These are all strong ingredients that I had brought with me from my previous career. I have served on the Computer and Technology Committee for 3 terms along with a Board of Director with the Barrie Board for one term. These experiences all give me a well rounded outlook and ability to work within today's market and with today's Buyers and Sellers.
Personal Background
Most of my life was spent in a small farming community outside of Chatham, Ontario called Dresden. Other than 6 years I spent in Castlegar, B.C., the remainder was spent in this small Ontario community and on my grandfathers farm just outside of Dresden. At 19 I left for college in Oshawa and spent the next two years both attending college and playing Jr. C hockey in Port Perry.
From there, I met my wife Michelle and we both moved to Barrie, ON in 1993 where we have been ever since. We have two boys Ryan and Matthew and alot of our time is spent either working or travelling with our boys sports teams both with baseball and hockey. We wouldnt have it any different!!!
Personal Interests
The majority of my spare time is spent with my two boys sports teams. They are both rep baseball and hockey players which is alot of fun to follow and watch. I have been a coach for both of my boys teams in the past and I current am an executive member of the Barrie Minor Baseball Association.
When we are not chasing our boys, we spend alot of time at home enjoying our backyard along with the odd game of golf and my winter hockey league.
