TPO (Thermoplastic polyefin)   The "TPO" roofing system is a single ply roof system. It is quickly becoming very popular in the commercial and industrial roofing industry. This product comes in white, tan or grey in colour, which aids in being reflective to the sun, which in turn cools the roof instead of drawing the heat with a black roof, therefore is energy efficient. It is cinsidered "Cool Roof Rating Council" or (CRRC) certified. It also meets "ENERGY STAR" r requirements. This will reduce air conditioning costs. The TPO roofing system is a cold applied roof system which can be mechanically fastened or fully adhered. The seams are welded with a hot air welder. This product comes in various thicknesses, 45 mil and 60 mil being the most popular for the roofing industry.

EPDM Roofing System The EPDM roofing system is also a single ply system, and is popular in the commercial and industrial roofing industry. This product has been on the market for over 40 years, and has proven to be an excellent system both in wearablity and cost. EPDM can be installed either as a "loose laid" system with a River wash gravel ballast installed over the membrane, fully adhered with adhesive, mechanically fastened with screws and plates, or hot mopped with hot asphalt. This membrane comes in differant thicknesses, 45 mil and 60 mil being most popular. EPDM and TPO roof system both have fewer seams than the modified membrane systems, and do not require a hot application. 10,15, and 20 year "Total system warranties" are available. It is hail resistant, and withstand up to 90 km winds.
