Kerry has to be not only one of the BEST applique teachers on line, but one of the most patient!! Not only are her videos very informative and understandable for beginner and advanced appliquers, she is so funny to watch! (How many of us have forgotten to turn on our light boxes!!) When I had a problem with my email and digital download..(my own stupidity!) Kerry mailed me a paper pattern in it's place immediately. I will continue to order from Simple Bird Studios. Also, Simple Bird would be a great place for teachers of beginner applique students to purchase their patterns.

Just a quick note to tell you how much I appreciate your blog. I also love hand applique and hand quilting, both of which seem to be disappearing in favor of quick and easy. I had started the Friends of Baltimore quilt a couple of years ago but got side-tracked to other things. After finding your blog, and seeing your "Friends" blocks, I'm inspired to get back to work the my Baltimore Album. Thanks very much. Cathie

I love Kerry's blog. But I had a question about something she used to measure & cut her applique blocks to their final size. Sooooooo, when I emailed her my question - well, I got a response so quickly! Kerry's email was just as helpful as her her blog, just as warm and friendly.
