Tourism Barrie is the official tourist office for the City of Barrie.  It is located in the beautifully restored heritage building, the Southshore Centre, once the Mechanics Building for the Barrie train station.  Tourism Barrie is a not for profit organization, open year round and has fully trained knowledgable travel counsellors who are ready to help you make the most of your time in Barrie.  We can help with directions, brochures, city maps, trail maps, information and tips about local history, events, beaches, tours, accommodations and nightlife.
