Do you have a sump pump? Prevent a flood, check your pump now. Is it plugged in. Remove pit cover & remove any debris blocking flow. The pump should not be sitting on the bottom, it should be on a brick, so it doesn't suck sand washed into pit. Lift the float to ensure pump will come on. Finally, check outside for any obstructions so the water will flow away from the the house. Call me for help.
